An island retreat, a private safari or a suite at sea? Choosing can be the hardest part of a luxury journey. London’s fair offers a chance to meet the people who design those experiences, turning an attractive idea into details you can compare and book.
Put the right venue in your diary
The organiser’s visitor guide confirms 5–8 November 2026 at Olympia London. Do not confuse this venue with WTM at Excel: check the address on your ticket before arranging your hotel or transfer.
Use the fair to discuss and compare itineraries. A conversation on a stand should lead to a detailed written proposal before you commit.
Bring a brief that specialists can use
Set out your dates, flexibility, party size, room requirements and any mobility, dietary or language needs. Explain whether you want a quiet island, an expedition, a cruise or a cultural city break.
Business travellers should ask about reliable working space, connections and changes to the schedule. Clarify whether “private” means an exclusive vehicle and guide, or simply a room within a shared experience.
Compare the substance of each offer
Ask for named hotels, room categories, inclusions, exclusions and cancellation terms. Separate flights, accommodation, transfers and activities so that competing quotes are genuinely comparable. Identify the contact responsible for assistance during the journey.
If you plan to continue to Paris, Normandy or Monaco, leave a realistic travel day. A well-designed itinerary makes room for rest and unplanned discoveries, as well as reservations.
Use the opening hours to your advantage
The official guide lists 10am–5pm Thursday to Saturday and 10am–4.30pm Sunday at Olympia’s National Hall. Put priority conversations early in the day and leave time to revisit a specialist after comparing proposals.
If you are also attending WTM, treat Olympia and Excel as separate appointments at separate venues. Check the journey before placing tightly timed meetings between them.
Why two similar quotations can differ
Two proposals for the same dates might include a view-category room, dedicated transfer and private guide in one case, but a basic room and shared transfers in another. This is a comparison example, not a particular commercial offer. Ask for itemised inclusions before judging the price difference.
For cruises, compare cabin category, shore excursions and dining inclusions. For safaris, clarify vehicle and guide arrangements and how much is shared. Pay for the elements you will actually value.
Practical questions before travelling
Is this WTM?
No. The Olympia event has its own programme and admission arrangements.
Should I book ahead?
Check current tickets, opening times and entry conditions with the organiser.
For a private itinerary, arrival or transfer, ask OUISTARS about available services and their terms before confirming a booking.
