How we handle corrections
OUISTARS Travel Magazine welcomes documented correction requests. Travel rules, schedules, prices and availability can change, while factual errors can occasionally occur despite careful editing. Our responsibility is to review credible evidence and correct material inaccuracies.
What to send
Please identify the article, the specific sentence or data point concerned, the reason it may be inaccurate and a reliable supporting source. Official documents and first-party webpages are especially helpful. Send the request through our contact page.
Our review process
The editorial team checks the original source, the publication date and the latest available information. Minor spelling or formatting edits may be made without a notice. Material factual corrections, changed official dates or significant clarifications should be reflected in the article. We do not remove accurate reporting merely because it is unfavourable.
Updates versus corrections
An update adds new information after publication. A correction fixes information that was inaccurate when published. A clarification improves wording where the original text could reasonably be misunderstood. Each is handled according to its editorial significance.
