Accuracy comes before speed
OUISTARS Travel Magazine aims to publish useful, accurate and responsible travel journalism. We verify time-sensitive claims before publication and prefer primary, official sources: public authorities, tourism boards, venues, transport operators, universities, hotels and the organisations directly responsible for the information.
Independent multilingual editions
English, French and Arabic articles are stored separately and linked as translations. Each version has its own title, metadata, headings, image text and natural editorial style. We do not concatenate languages in one editor.
News, analysis and opinion
News reports distinguish confirmed facts from unverified claims. Analysis and editorial opinion are labelled clearly. Forecasts and risk assessments are presented as judgments, not as proof that an outcome has occurred. Testimony is attributed to the person providing it and is not presented as independently verified unless verification is stated.
Sources, links and updates
We link directly to relevant official pages and reputable primary reporting. Dates, ticket availability, regulations, prices and schedules are checked against the latest accessible information. Substantial updates should be reflected in the article when circumstances change.
Images and commercial transparency
Images must be relevant, properly credited and used under an appropriate licence or permission. We avoid watermarked previews, fabricated visuals and misleading captions. Sponsored content, partnerships and affiliate relationships must be disclosed. Editorial recommendations are not purchased.
Corrections
Readers and organisations may submit a documented correction through our contact page. We review credible requests promptly and correct material errors transparently.
Governance and transparency
Read our ownership, funding and commercial-transparency statement, ethics and conflicts policy and corrections policy.
