Separate a public festival from an industry event
Paris Fashion Week shapes the city’s hotel, restaurant and transport demand, but most runway shows are not public-ticket attractions. IFTM, SIAL and EquipHotel are professional fairs. Their tourism value is real, yet access conditions matter.
Plan around venue geography
Grand Palais events sit in central Paris; Paris Nord Villepinte is near Charles de Gaulle but outside the centre; Stade de France is in Saint-Denis; Paris La Défense Arena is west of Paris. The venue can change the sensible hotel area and transfer time.

A practical transport plan for event nights
