Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris makes sense for a stay rooted in the Left Bank rather than a daily commute to the Golden Triangle. Its boulevard Raspail address supports a different rhythm: Saint-Germain walks, shopping around rue de Sèvres and time back at the hotel. This is a present-day stay guide; the hotel’s history is covered separately.
45 boulevard Raspail: choose the bank that fits your plans
The official address is 45 boulevard Raspail, 75006 Paris. Rue de Sèvres and the Le Bon Marché area help shape a local shopping outing; Saint-Germain and the Luxembourg area can form another walk according to your pace. Meetings around the Champs-Élysées need their own cross-city allowance.
Do not shorten the transport destination to “Mandarin Oriental Paris”: the group also has the rue Saint-Honoré property. Use Lutetia and the full address on reservations. This matters just as much for a restaurant pickup as for the first airport arrival.
Rooms and family arrangements: confirm balcony and connection
The current directory separates room and suite categories, including balcony rooms and connecting family options. A balcony or a particular landmark view is not a universal entitlement. Ask for the booked layout and actual outlook, especially when choosing between a room and a larger suite.
For children, confirm bed configuration, permitted occupancy and the precise connecting arrangement. Check early arrival, breakfast and cancellation terms in the selected rate. If shopping or a longer stay means more luggage, consider storage needs and unpacking time instead of relying only on a category’s name.
Brasserie, salon or bar: reserve the right experience
The official dining selection includes Brasserie Lutetia, Le Saint-Germain, Bar Josephine and Bar Aristide. Match the reservation to the occasion: a brasserie meal, a quieter pause and an evening drink are different ways to use the hotel. Menus and entertainment schedules need confirmation for the dates concerned.
For a first day, keep the dinner plan compatible with flight uncertainty. For another evening, allow time after a shopping collection before the table. A good restaurant choice can anchor the local programme without forcing several journeys across the Seine.
Wellness: a pool does not remove the booking questions
The current official page describes a spa, fitness and a 17-metre pool. It also sets conditions for junior guests and adult supervision. Families should ask about applicable times and ages before treating the pool as an unrestricted activity throughout the day.
Reserve treatments separately and make room for a relaxed return. The hotel suits couples and families who want a Left Bank base, as well as professionals whose meetings align with that side of Paris. An excursion day should have its own return plan instead of being attached casually to an already busy shopping afternoon.
Airport arrival: CDG, Orly and Le Bourget — Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris
For CDG, Orly and Le Bourget, provide the complete boulevard Raspail address, flight and terminal. A private aviation arrival also needs the FBO and authorised landside meeting instructions. Journey times vary with the approach and traffic, including crossings between banks; agree a sensible margin. For rail arrivals, send the exact station and train. If travelling by Métro, check the route and the final walk with your actual luggage.
Optional VIP Meet & Greet: separate airport assistance
A standard chauffeur reservation includes the confirmed landside meeting and vehicle transfer, not automatic aircraft-door reception. OUISTARS can separately coordinate VIP Meet & Greet / airport assistance when requested and operationally available. Where permitted by the airport, airline, terminal and security procedures, enhanced assistance may begin from the aircraft arrival process and continue through airport formalities, baggage assistance and handover to the chauffeur. Confirm the exact scope and permissions before booking. Aircraft-door access is never presumed for every airport or flight, and assistance and chauffeur transport must be confirmed separately.
Hotel-arranged chauffeur, taxi or direct OUISTARS booking?
For guests who prefer the hotel concierge to manage the booking
Hotel-arranged chauffeur
Lutetia’s official arrival information offers hotel help arranging private transfers. For a guest who wants the property to manage the details, that is a legitimate choice. Give the boulevard Raspail address and clarify waiting and onward journeys. Booking through the hotel differs from direct contracting with the transport provider; compare the confirmed scope.
For straightforward on-demand point-to-point journeys
Taxi / ride-hailing
For one direct Left Bank journey, taxi and ride-hailing can serve the purpose well. Normal successive bookings do not guarantee the same driver or vehicle. App rides can change assignment, be reassigned or cancelled in certain circumstances. Consider the actual reserved or premium product, while recognising that a single journey normally does not provide pre-planned airport reception and an arrival-to-departure coordination team.
For advance organisation and several journeys throughout the stay
Direct pre-arranged professional OUISTARS chauffeur
OUISTARS can confirm a direct advance reservation with flight monitoring, an agreed arrivals-area or designated meeting point, professional chauffeur reception, luggage assistance and waiting coordination. Choose a premium Mercedes category according to passengers and bags, then confirm direct Lutetia drop-off. The transport team can follow a Left Bank programme and any later Right Bank appointments through one direct communication channel.
For Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris, plan vehicles around rue de Sèvres shopping and Left Bank visits. Whatever your party size, provide the total passengers, bags and pickup addresses for a tailored proposal: a premium Mercedes car, van or Sprinter, or several vehicles subject to confirmed capacity and availability. Agree airport arrival, hotel pickup, hourly/full-day use, events, private tours and departure with one transport team. Continuity of coordination does not automatically mean the same driver or vehicle for every journey.
One transport team from arrival to departure — Mandarin Oriental Lutetia, Paris
OUISTARS Travel is the editorial publication; OUISTARS provides the transport services described here. No official hotel partnership or endorsement is claimed.
A Lutetia transport brief can group rue de Sèvres shopping and Left Bank visits, then assign a separate hourly or full-day chauffeur period to meetings, restaurants or events elsewhere. OUISTARS can coordinate private tours, multi-day travel, a planned Versailles or Champagne excursion and the hotel-to-airport departure. Entry tickets and visits remain separate bookings. One team coordinates arrival to departure without automatically promising the same individual chauffeur or vehicle on every movement.
