Future flight schedule · Starts 25 October 2026

Oman Air’s winter 2026/27 schedule starts on 25 October with extra frequencies, larger capacity and a wider codeshare map. The strongest changes affect Europe, Russia and Asia, while domestic Oman services also increase. This practical guide explains what is changing, where connections become easier and what travellers should verify before booking.

Winter schedule starts 25 October 2026
Paris and major European cities Up to 5 weekly flights
Zurich Capacity triples versus summer
Moscow Up to 8 weekly flights
Muscat–Salalah Up to 5 flights daily

Europe receives the biggest uplift

Paris, Frankfurt, Munich, Milan and Istanbul are scheduled to rise to as many as five flights per week. Zurich capacity triples compared with the summer season, supported by widebody aircraft on up to five weekly services. Moscow grows from four weekly flights in summer to as many as eight in winter.

New winter options across Asia

Singapore will operate four times weekly, while Tashkent continues twice weekly and Sochi weekly. Oman Air also plans selected Boeing 787 widebody services once a week on Mumbai and Dhaka routes, adding capacity on high-demand days.

More travel inside Oman

Muscat–Khasab increases to as many as four weekly flights, and Muscat–Salalah can operate up to five times daily. These additions can help visitors combine Muscat with Dhofar or Musandam, although same-day domestic connections must be checked carefully.

What the codeshares add

Expanded agreements with Lufthansa and SWISS add connections via Frankfurt to Edinburgh, Wrocław, Poznań, Gdańsk, Bergen and Billund; via Munich to Edinburgh and Wrocław; and via Zurich to Gothenburg and Oslo. The Malaysia Airlines partnership adds Shanghai, Beijing Daxing and Guangzhou.

How to book a safer itinerary

Search the complete journey, not separate segments. Confirm that every leg appears on one ticket, check the operating carrier, baggage allowance and minimum connection time, and avoid assuming that “up to five weekly” means a flight every day.

Planning Paris and Oman together

The increased Paris frequency improves options but does not guarantee the same timetable each week. Compare travel dates before fixing hotels or ground transport. Winter is also a high-demand period for Oman, so coordinate flights, accommodation and transfers as one plan.
