A result photograph cannot select your implant, surgeon or years of follow-up. Comparing breast augmentation in Paris and Turkey is less about finding a larger size than understanding a plan that fits your wishes and health, including its limits and continuing costs.
Start with the goal
Augmentation and a breast lift address different goals. Additional techniques may be discussed after examination. Do not translate another person’s photograph directly into an implant size: ask what can realistically change and where scars would lie.
Deferring or declining surgery is an option. Discuss planned pregnancy or breastfeeding, medical history and medicines with the team. Do not alter medication independently because of a travel checklist.
An implant is a continuing commitment
The FDA states that breast implants are not lifetime devices. Risks include capsular contracture, rupture, infection, further operations and rare BIA-ALCL, reported more often with textured implants. Discuss the specific device; this lymphoma is distinct from ordinary breast cancer.
Request manufacturer, model, surface and device identification, and retain the implant documentation. Ask about future examinations and their cost. A device warranty does not necessarily pay for an operation, anaesthesia or another journey.
Compare named providers
Check the French surgeon’s registration and specialty, or Turkish health-tourism facility and facilitator authorisation alongside the individual surgeon’s qualifications. None of these checks guarantees an outcome.
Meet the operating surgeon and establish the facility, anaesthesia team and complication pathway. France requires at least 15 days’ reflection after delivery of the cosmetic-surgery quote; confirm how this applies before fixing travel.
Request the complete quote
Separate medical costs—assessment, tests, implants, surgeon, anaesthesia, facility, supportive garments and reviews—from flights, accommodation, companion, interpretation and transfers. Identify exclusions explicitly.
Add possible extended stays, further examinations and revision costs. Ask about the deposit if examination changes the plan. No fixed country-wide price advantage is asserted here without equivalent, dated quotes.
Let recovery shape the itinerary
NHS information describes augmentation as major surgery with no guaranteed result. Discuss changes in sensation, scarring, breastfeeding and future breast examinations, rather than accepting a promise of painless recovery.
Obtain activity, review and travel instructions, with an emergency plan. Combining breast and buttock procedures is not assumed appropriate: that requires an individual risk assessment. Acute severe symptoms require urgent care rather than waiting for a travel coordinator.
Share the questions, not a size promise
Ask who operates, which device, which scar, what follow-up and who pays if something goes wrong. A short-lived discount should not decide a medical choice.
The useful outcome is a verifiable plan and informed consent, not a universal winning country. This is general editorial information, not personal surgical assessment.

Questions before booking
Are implants lifetime devices?
No. Future reviews or operations may be needed, depending on the device and individual circumstances.
Is augmentation the same as a lift?
No. Ask the surgeon to explain the different goals and options after examination.
Can I combine breast and buttock surgery?
This guide does not assume that is appropriate. It requires individual assessment of combined risks and care.
