Choose France 2026 announced €93 billion in projects. What could it mean for business travel, hotels and France’s regions?

Why this matters

Official policy and investment decisions shape visitor confidence, jobs and the quality of destinations. The opportunity is to grow value while protecting residents, climate and local character.

What to watch next

Projects should be assessed by delivery, regional distribution, skills and measurable visitor experience—not announcements alone. For coordinated travel in France, oui stars provides destination mobility support.

What €93bn does—and does not—mean

The government says Choose France 2026 represents 71 investment decisions worth €93bn and more than 15,000 jobs. These announcements span several sectors; they are not a tourism budget. Their travel effect is indirect: new sites bring executives, suppliers, conferences and longer business stays.

The delivery test

France must convert announcements into projects with transport access, skilled staff and welcoming destinations. Airports, hotels and DMCs will be judged on the complete journey.
