Paris is preparing to spend €8.2 billion on the gateways through which the world meets France. On 29 July 2026, the French State and Groupe ADP announced an agreement on a proposed 2027–2034 economic regulation contract. The final contract is not signed yet.

Why the number matters

The official ambition is to strengthen the competitiveness of Paris airports and France’s international image. For travelers, the test will be practical: clearer connections, reliable facilities, smoother transfers and an arrival experience matching France’s luxury reputation.

The airport is part of the tourism product

CDG and Orly performance affects airlines, hotels, conferences and destination companies. Business travelers measure Paris from the first welcome; families measure luggage handling, accessibility and the time needed to reach a hotel.

What success should mean

Investment alone is not enough. France must measure reliability, information and rail-road connections. Success will appear in visitor confidence and longer stays, not only in construction volume.

A coordinated Paris airport transfer can connect airport, hotel and itinerary through one confirmed point of contact.
